Algeria's industrial sector is heavily centered around petrochemicals, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. However, the prevalence of hard water and high ambient temperatures in regions like Algiers and Oran places significant stress on any standard water boiler, leading to rapid scaling and efficiency drops.
The reliance on natural gas is high, yet many older facilities still utilize outdated combustion systems. There is a growing urgency to transition toward a more specialized steam boiler infrastructure that can handle high-pressure demands while reducing carbon emissions in line with regional environmental goals.
Furthermore, the scarcity of water in the southern Saharan regions makes water-based heating risky. This has led to an increased adoption of oil-based heating systems that offer safer, high-temperature heat transfer without the risk of explosive pressure buildup common in traditional boilers.
